Winners were announced Thursday, June 16, 2011 at a black-tie gala with over 500 business leaders from throughout the State of Florida at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.
The Entrepreneur Of The Year Program recognizes that entrepreneurs can transform economies, drive innovation and change communities, and honors businesses and organizations that do just that.

King Jewelers Announces Exclusive Partnership With BRM Watches Benefiting The Japanese Relief Fund

Rick Case Automotive Group to “Rock” with Community Partners at 50 Year Anniversary Charity-Benefit
21 South Florida Charities, Over 1,000 Philanthropic Supporters to Join Rita and Rick Case Jan. 14 at the Signature Grand to Celebrate “50 Years of Rockin’ & Rollin”
DAVIE, FL (June 7, 2011) – In recognition of their valued support and friendship over the years, Rita and Rick Case, and the Rick Case Automotive Group announced today that they have invited 21 local charities and community organizations to attend its 50 year anniversary milestone event to celebrate ‘60s style in a groovy-themed party called “50 Years of Rockin’ & Rollin’” on Saturday, January 14, at the Signature Grand in Davie, FL.
This evening will be a tremendous celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and the founding of the Rick Case Automotive Group. More than 1,000 of South Florida’s most influential business, community, and philanthropic leaders will attend the rockin’, fun-filled event which will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and a live and silent auction. The Rick Case Automotive Group will donate a 2012 Acura TL, 2012 Honda Accord, 2012 Hyundai Sonata, 2012 Fiat 500, and a Honda VTX 1300 Cruiser Motorcycle to the live auction, where 100 percent of the bid price will be donated to the participating charity of the winning bidder’s choice.
Setting the stage for a memorable event, and promising to have guests dancing all night long, will be two of the best “tribute” bands in the country – a Beatles band from the streets of New York and a Beach Boys band from the beaches of California – who will perform the rock-and-roll legends’ greatest hits of all time. This year also marks 50 years of pop culture history for these two bands, from when they took the music world by storm.
“To have enjoyed so much success and happiness in our more than 25 years in South Florida couldn’t have been possible without our wonderful friends and community partners,” said Rick Case of the Rick Case Automotive Group. “So we wanted to show our sincere appreciation with a celebratory night of great food, great drinks, and, of course, great ‘60s music!”

2011 Gulfstream Media Group Design Awards Presented by Allied Kitchen & Bath Announced Winners
More than 200 design professionals enjoyed an evening of networking and honoring fellow designers for exquisite works in South Florida
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (June 2, 2011) – Allied Kitchen & Bath, a family owned and operated one-stop shop for kitchen and bath design and remodeling, hosted the 2011 Gulfstream Media Group Design Awards presented by Allied Kitchen & Bath on April 21, 2011.
More than 200 of South Florida’s most inventive and successful designers joined Gulfstream Media Group and Allied Kitchen & Bath for an evening dedicated to honoring talented top design industry companies for their innovative works across Florida. More than 70 entries were narrowed down to seven grand prize winners in the following categories: Bedroom/Master Suite, Eco-Friendly Design, Living Room/Great Room, Commercial Spaces, Kitchen, Bath, and Outdoor Spaces/Landscaping Architecture.
All entries were judged by an esteemed panel of industry professionals including Jaclyn Hirschhaut, AHFA; and Alan Hilsabeck, Jr., NKBA. Each submission was judged on functionality, innovation and overall presentation and winners were announced live during the event. The winners are:
