Arthur E. Benjamin and Lea Black at the Blacks’ Annual Gala

Miami, FL – April 2, 2011 – Delray Beach executive and philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin served as top tier sponsor for the Blacks’ Annual Gala – hosted by Lea & Roy Black – one of Miami’s most prestigious, star-studded charity event, back for its 17^th straight year on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. The gala benefits at-risk kids through a dynamic public / private alliance with the Miami-Dade County Juvenile Services Department.

According to Benjamin, president and founder of The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation, “Having contributed to the education of at-risk youth for almost three decades, it was a natural fit to support the Blacks’ Annual Gala, benefitting such an important and much-needed organization as The Consequences Foundation. Benjamin Foundation was pleased to be a part of such an event that raises awareness for the need to help Miami-Dade youth-at-risk achieve their optimal potential and to help each of them rise to the occasion and become the outstanding citizens they were meant to be.”

Celebrity notables for the evening included Hosts Roy & Lea Black, Adriana De Moura, Alexia Echeverria & Marysol Patton, Adam Gaynor, Gabrielle Anwar, Jeffrey Donovan, Joe Francis and Designers Lisa & Donald Pliner. Business icons and philanthropists spearheaded the fundraising, including Arthur E.
