More than 1,500 fans came out for the events, which provided South Florida families and fans with the chance to get up close and personal with Bella Thorne

BOCA RATON & FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (September 9, 2011) – YoBlendz, a healthy self-serve frozen yogurt franchise blending nature’s best with all the rest, recently hosted South Florida-native Bella Thorne, star of the Disney Channel Original Series “Shake It Up” for two meet and greet and autograph signings on Saturday, August 27, 2011.

More than 500 fans came out for the first appearance at the new YoBlendz store in Mission Bay Plaza on State Road 7 in Boca Raton, with more than 1,000 fans in attendance at the second appearance, which took place at the first ever co-branded JUICEBLENDZ/YoBlendz store in the Southport Shopping Center on SE 17^th Street in Fort Lauderdale. The meet and greet and autograph signings marked the official grand openings for each of the new locations, and featured a variety of family-friendly activities including a live DJ, face painting, a balloon artist, and more.

A minimum purchase of one yogurt or smoothie was required per autograph with a portion of proceeds from all sales benefitting the YoBlendz Foundation, which provides food and education to impoverished and underprivileged children.
